Day 1.

Meeting at the airport. Check in the hotel.

A sightseeing excursion along the city Yerevan. Lunch. Yerevan City Tour. Excursion to Yerevan Brandy Factory and degustation of 3 types of Armenian brandy. Dinner (Armenian national dishes).

Day 2.

Trip to the pagan temple Garni, dedicated to the Sun God – Mihr (the 1st century AD), which was also the summer residence of Armenian kings. Excursion to Geghard Monastery, which is masterfully hewn in a huge rock, famous for its unique architecture and possessing an amazing acoustics. Return to Yerevan.

Day 3.

Visit Vernisage – fair of souvenirs, where handmade works of local masters are sold. After Visit S. Parajanov’s house museum. S.Parajanov was a brilliant artist and producer. Lunch. Excursion to Matenadaran- the museum of ancient manuscripts (here more then 1000 ancient monuscripts are stored).

Day 4.

Trip to Ejmiadzin-the spiritual and administrative center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Visit  the Cathedral and Museum of Ejmiadzin, where there are stored the priceless treasures and relics of the church. Visit the Cathedral of St. Hripsime. On the way back to Yeravan admire the ruins of the temple Zvartnots (temple of “Vigil Forces”), which was destroyed by the earthquake of the tenth century. Return to Yerevan.

Day 5.

Trip to Khor Virap Monastery, which has a majestic view to the Biblical Mount Ararat. Just here St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned for spreading the Christianity in Armenia. Continue your trip to Noravank Monastery- magnificent monument of medieval Armenian architecture, which is surrounded with fancy red Rocks. On the way back to Yerevan visit Areni wine factory. Degustation of Armenian Wine. Return to Yerevan.

Day 6.

Trip to Lake Sevan, one of the world’s greatest high altitude fresh water lakes, which proudly stands at the top of the cliffs of the peninsula and  goes deep into the lake. Continue the trip to Noraduz. Noraduz is considered to be  an open air museum.  There are more than 1,000 unique medieval cross-stones - the cross of stones (9-15 cc.). Return to Yerevan.

Day 7.

Check out from the hotel. Excursion to the house-museum of Armenian great painter Martiros Saryan. Transfer to the airport.
