The grizzled Aragats hide incredibly many secrets. Looking at him involuntarily recall the legends of giants, the battles of the gods… Precisely in the country Ararat there was a great battle between Vahagn and Vishap: “Their strikes shook the Earth and echoed bottomlessness of the universe. They fought for a long time. The gods followed their fight with terror. Only the Creator – Ararich Ara looked down calmly, pondering his decision.”

Three majestic mountains – Ararat, Aragats and Araler as if hug the mountain plains, protecting them from all sides and form a huge Bowl, in which you can escape from all the troubles and tribulations. Unconsciously comes to mind the comparison with Noah’s Ark, which found its refuge on the Mount Ararat and saved seeds of life and civilization. Perhaps that Bowl is the Noah’s Ark?

The whole Armenia is a heaven for archeologists, but the foothills of Mount Aragats is something unique! All of the foothills and the mountain itself is literally ''dotted with'' ancient settlements of different periods. Ashtarak, Oshakan, Voskevaz, Voskehat, Qosh, Aparan, Shamiram, Arindjh… - the list is endless, but it does not reflect the reality. Here literally every square meter can open many secrets and riddles of our common ancestors – Indo (ar-Aryans). The excavations carried out in Agarak since 2001. And if the top layers well give in the dating and belong to the period from the early Bronze Age to the Early Iron inclusive (although the information of archeologists is very stingy, if not say that it practically does not exist), then lower megalithic cult complex raises many questions. Downstream the river Amberd extend continuously to dozens of hectares of tuff cliffs, outputs, stone hills and natural plateau, as well as freestanding blocks bear the traces of intensive treatment. All these structures, along with the "sacrificial altar" transform the natural landscape into a single gigantic monument. Independently exploring the monument and the surrounding area, we found several tombs and caves, old signs, rock painting, an ancient plumbing and unique energy points and stones, some of which can be treated and others are key to improving the exchange of energy information with space. (Work with frame). Indeed, occurs very many questions.

For example, what can mean various types of slice recess band and baths; for what meant different diameter and depth of the round holes - wells, straight edges and joints megaliths - the handiwork of men, either unknown to us some devices or instruments? ...

In studying the materials of Agarak we stumbled upon very beautiful parable. It states that every person is born under his star that guides him through his life. When a man died - his body committed to the earth, but as a spiritual home in the gravestone done a round hole or well to save space communication with its star. After the rain the wells were filled with water and stars were revealed in them. Apparently the concept of ''mirror of the soul'' was from there.

Questions, questions, questions… But now we can say with certainty that the history of these places takes us into a much more distant past - the cradle of civilization.

We invite you to the places where spirituality, myths and legends are true!

Tatev – Esoteric and Archeological Tour

This unique and exceptional tour will allow you to ‘touch’ the sources of human civilization. Moreover, it may inspire you to re-consider and re-write the history of humankind.

The 6000 year old city, discovered in a mountain forest, will open for you its curtains hiding numerous secrets of the past, share with you unique healing cosmic energy and, of course, exceptionally beautiful landscape.

During the tour you will be able to track the development path of humankind from its start point through present day.  The highland lake of Ukhtasar Mountain (Camel Mountain) preserves a whole gallery of prehistoric rock paintings and symbols. You will see the world’s oldest observatory Zorats Karer, also called Karahunj (Talking Rocks), which is about 7500 years old, as well as the ancient “City of Knowledge”,  cave cities Goris and Khndzoresk,  magnificent Christian temples and monasteries and most important, the Swinging column (Syun) - the 8th Wonder of the World. This eight meter multi-ton octahedral pillar was constructed using pivoting-base technique, which allows at the mere touch of a human hand to tilt and then return to its initial position. This “Heaven compass” points to the Orion constellation and Sirius star during the days of Navasard (New Year). The name Syunik of the nearby village originated from “Syun”, which keeps the secrets of thousands of years.
